The HSS twist drill PointTeQ enables fast drilling in metal due to the PointTeQ design on the drill tip. Fast and easy pilot drilling is possible because the self-centering tip prevents wandering. Due to the increased drilling rate, less heat and wear are generated. The PointTeQ design on the drill tip stays sharp and withstands continuous use. This drill is for drilling through and pilot holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastic. There is a low risk of breakage, especially for drill bits with a diameter of less than 6 mm, as the drill is manufactured to have a highly elastic body. The black oxide coated flute allows for quick chip removal. The PointTeQ HSS twist drill is manufactured according to DIN 338. The drill is type N (small rake angle) with a point angle of 135 degrees. The shank is cylindrical (the shank diameter corresponds to the drill diameter). It is used with drill stands and drill drivers.
