With the HG Cleaner, you can thoroughly clean the areas to be bonded and optimally prepare them for the actual bonding process. The cleaner is also an effective adhesive remover, allowing you to remove adhesive residue from tables, floors, and textiles. Proper preparation is essential for optimal bonding results. We would even venture to say that it is more important than the quality of the adhesive itself. Oil, grease, dirt, rust, etc. are real killers of a strong and permanent bond.
Application:
- Test compatibility: Test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area of the material in question. Remove immediately if an undesirable reaction occurs.
- Remove old adhesive residue (optional): If there are any adhesive residues left on the area to be bonded, sprinkle them with the cleaner and let them absorb for a few minutes. The residue can then be removed with a clean cloth.
- Basic cleaning: For the actual cleaning before bonding, simply add a few drops of HG Cleaner to a cloth and apply it to the broken area to be bonded. This basic cleaning is necessary because any contamination impairs the stability of the adhesive bond.
