The protective jaws have a sturdy aluminum base body. The profile is rectangular and plane-parallel; the high precision of the HEUER vise is maintained. The integrated special magnets hold the protective jaws securely to the vise. Despite the extremely high magnetic force, the magnetism does not penetrate to the clamping surfaces, so that chips are neither attracted nor the workpieces are magnetized.
